Playing with Fire (Oakland Airport)
October 26, 2012–March 24, 2013
PLAYING WITH FIRE included an extension at OMCA's gallery spaces at Oakland International Airport. The concept, identity and branding all followed, as well as the exhibit design. I served as the lead graphic designer on the project.

This entrance mural at the walkway between Terminal 1 and 2 featured the primary campaign image. The identity developed for the companion PLAYING WITH FIRE exhibit at the OMCA was adapted for this satellite presentation.
The subtitles for the three gallery sections followed the typographic form of the exhibit mark that I developed for the exhibit at OMCA, expressing the fluidic nature of glass being blown in the connecting serif forms.

Each exhibit featured large format murals of glassworkers from local studios practicing their craft.

Images were stylized in a blue duotone with saturation emphasis added to areas of flame, heat, and light.
